I teach gentle yoga for mindful people using a combination of Hatha, gentle flow and Yin practice. Yoga is for everybody so all my yoga is accessible for people new to yoga as well as those with more experience. Whatever your age, experience, capability or stage of life you will find something for you.

My authentic yoga brings you in touch with your whole self. I use a combination of physical practice, breathwork, chanting and meditation to leave you feeling nourished, at peace and restored.

Tuesday 10.00 – 11.00 a.m. Ashbrook Community Centre, Ashbrook Avenue, Borrowash

Join our super friendly class for a gentle but enlivening practice. This class is ideal for beginners as well as people more experience of yoga as we explore the vibrant morning energy. Every body is welcome and all ages as we practice hatha yoga and gentle flow. All equipment provided.

Beginner’s Yoga ONLINE

Wednesday evening 7.00 – 7.45 p.m. ONLINE

These yoga classes  are developed especially with beginners and people new to yoga in mind.

Foundations of Yoga for Horse Lovers

Six week online course starts Wednesday 8th January

Every journey begins with a single hoof beat; start YOUR yoga journey here. This short course, designed especially for horse lovers and riders introduces you to key yoga poses, breath and meditation. We’ll use myofascial release techniques and polyvagal and embodied yoga practices, leading you to physical and emotional wellness and a deeper connection with your horse.

Thursday Evenings 7.00p.m -8.00 p.m. The Lecture Hall, The Settlement, Ockbrook

Based at the beautiful and historical Lecture Hall, The Settlement, Ockbrook, these classes are bathed in light and love. If you want to join a gentle, local community then these classes are for you. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience of yoga, these classes are suitable for every body and all ages. Hatha and gentle yoga flow combined to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Foundations of Yoga at Spondon

6 week Course starts Friday 17th January 9.30 – 10.30 a.m. The Old School, Chapel St, Spondon

This 6 week course is a beautiful introduction to the practice of yoga, giving you all the foundation skills you need. And with just 10 spaces available you can be assured of a warm welcome and a beautiful community energy.

You will learn key poses (asana) including downward facing dog, mountain pose, cat-cow and more, as well as balances like tree pose and dancer. We’ll practice yogic breathing to help you feel calm, energised and centred, as well as relaxing into yummy meditation (savasana) at the end of each class.

Don’t worry if you don’t feel flexible or strong! Yoga meets you exactly where you are. Yoga really is for every body. So whether you are completely new to yoga, or returning after a break this really is the course for you.

Yoga at Spondon

Fridays 6.30 – 7.30 p.m. The Old School, Chapel St, Spondon

Finish your week with my gentlest and most popular practice. A philosophical connection, perfectly combined with slow but strong asana practice. The perfect pause between your week and your weekend. As with all my classes, all equipment provided and suitable for beginners, as well as those with more experience of yoga.

Sunday Yin

Monthly Every second Sunday, 4.30 – 6.00 The Parish Hall, Church St, Ockbrook

If yoga were the food of love … all yoga would be yin. Yin is the yoga to feel what the heart cannot say, a space to lean into your whole self, to linger in the company of your soul and to be when there are simply no more words …

This most gentle, floor based practice is the perfect way to re-charge and restore your physical and emotional self. Be held, be loved, be nourished.

No previous experience of yoga needed and all equipment provided.
